Recently we had Harrison's Moving & Storage move us from Chesapeake to Suffolk. Not having moved in almost twenty years and having had a terrible last experience we had enormous reservations about this part of the process of moving. Our overall experience with Harrison's exceeded all our expectations.

From the initial interview and assurance that they would treat all our possessions with extreme care to the time they left our new home with all furniture in its proper place with no damage, we were nothing short of amazed.

The movers were always courteous and helpful. They were willing to do whatever we asked to help us feel better about the care of all our furniture, as well as each of the homes. They covered all the floors; covered the doorframes, banisters, and rails. They padded all hardgoods and shrinkwrapped all softgoods. They were even willing to move some pieces of furniture a couple of times in the new home to make sure we were happy with the placement. All of the movers were polite and hardworking. No one complained about anything they were asked to do, making the entire process outstanding.

We would highly recommend them to anyone and in fact have already referred them three times. If you want a company of real professionals who really care, hire Harrison's.

The United Way of South Hampton Roads moved its regional headquarters from downtown Norfolk, where it occupied three floors of office space to a new building in Norfolk Commerce Park.
